For the vast majority of human existence, people were nomadic. As hunter-gatherers, we belonged to a close community where everyone had a role, and ate only what was in their environment for that season. The point being convenience does not usually benefit health. We are designed to move throughout nature and synchronize to a circadian rhythm in order to perform optimally, such as light (sun), cold (a real winter) and intermittent fasting. Studies have also shown that the human brain has shrunk more than 10% since the inception of agriculture and the continued rate of disease has doubled in the last 25 years alone. In fact, if healthcare spending continues to increase at its current pace, it is estimated that 100% of the total federal budget will go towards medicare by the year 2040. The U.S. Department of Defense has named healthcare as an existential threat to the survival of this nation.

Nomad is for the humans who are sick of the circulating misinformation in the health & fitness industry and feel stuck in a broken, conventional medical system with no answer for the continued rise of chronic disease. It’s easy to become manipulated by Big Agra, Big Pharma, Big Tech and the plethora of media hype. We all play a vital role in changing this and we cannot just hand over our health to others. Now, more than ever, we need to accept personal responsibility for our health and our influence on the environment. It's time we rethink health and wellness in order to turn the tide and create lasting change!
